A regular workday at the demo garden on Thursdays, 11am to 1pm. The gate will indeed be open and members of the public are welcome to drop in and enjoy the garden and ask for advice. There will be public demos and plant sales. Share in garden produce, free seed exchange and local gardening advice.

Make and Take Cheese Making Class In this Make and Take workshop you will learn the skill of transforming milk into 2 different cheeses, Mozzarella and Queso Blanco. The class will include materials and tools for making cheese as well as recipes and food storage tips.

Hands on Workshop to teach attendees how to safely pressure can salmon and vegetable stock. We will cover the fundamentals of pressure canning, including why certain foods must be pressure canned vs boiling water canned.

Join Dr. Zaw Wai Htoo for his seminar "Practical Strategies for Managing Blood Sugar and Body Weight Through Personalized Targeted Nutrition". This event will be held both in-person and through Zoom.

Learn how to make homemade fruit rolls (also known as fruit leathers) using your end-of-season peaches. They are a tasty chewy, dried fruit product that can be made from fresh, frozen or drained canned fruit. This free class is presented by the new UC Master Food Preserver Online Program.
