About the Event

In this class, we will demonstrate how to use an atmospheric steam canner to process a delightful Red Onion Marmalade, pressure can carrots both savory and sweet, as well as preserve other treasures of the season. We will also provide safety information on the procedures used to preserve your springtime produce throughout the demonstrations. Wouldn’t it be wonderful to have these preserved foods waiting for you in your freezer and pantry all the year through! Samples of these delectable treats will be provided, along with a pamphlet of recipes and procedures. Come join us!
