Fun Night

 

Overview and Purpose:

This is an annual fund raising event is sponsored by the Butte County 4-H Council and the 4-H Clubs of Butte County.  This event is styled as a family oriented carnival with game booths, cake walk, fabulous silent auction, dinner and more!

This event is hosted by the Biggs 4-H Club. The Silent Auction will be hosted by Nord Cana 4-H Club. 

Event Details:

2026 THEME:  Hawaiian 

DATE: Saturday, February 7, 2026

TIME: 3:45 - 7:30 pm

LOCATION: Silver Dollar Fairgrounds, Vanella Hall Building

COST: $2.00 (Food and Game Tokens are an additional cost)

This event is a fundraiser and we ask for a $2.00 donation at the door.  Dinner, games, and silent auction prices vary. 

  • Donations for the cake walk welcome! Please bring a packaged cake, cupcakes, pie, brownies, etc. to be included in the cake walk. 

 

FOR CLUBS: 

To sign your club up for a booth please fill out and submit the Google Form: Club Booth Sign Up & Information Form.

Please review the following information before submitting your Club Booth Information Form.

Club may submit reimbursement for expenses for putting their booth together. Max expense cost is $25.00. Expenses must be submitted via the Butte Co. 4-H Reimbursement Form

All clubs must register their booth by: January 5th, 2026.

 

Silent Auction Details: 

Nord-Cana 4-H Club will be hosting the Silent Auction and will be accepting silent auction items for Fun Night during the set up times listed below.

Cake Walk 

Please remember to bring a dessert or treat for the Cake Walk.

 

Fun Night Set Up and Clean Up Information: 

  • We will be setting up on Friday, February 6th from 5:30 to 8:00pm and Saturday, February 7th from 10:00-2:00pm. General set-up will happen on Friday - this includes setting up the silent auction tables, cake walk, and getting tables out for each booth. Clubs will not be allowed to set up their individual booth until the general set up is complete.
  • On Saturday: At 2:00pm everyone will be asked to leave and the Booths will be judged.
  • At 3:30pm, adults and youth who are working their club booths or the event will be allowed back in so they can prepare for the event to start at 3:45pm.
  • Event clean up will happen around 7:30pm on Saturday, February 7th, but clubs should not begin to clean up their booths until told to do so.  It is expected that every one stay and help for both the booth clean up and the general clean up.
