Open gardens are informal FREE events where you roam the gardens, watch what we are doing, see what we are growing and ask questions. Bring samples of your problem plants, mystery pests and questions to the “Ask the Master Gardeners” information table. Get one-on-one advice based on the most recent research-based sustainable practices.
Enjoy delightful spring flowers blooming in the new perennial garden bed among drought tolerant plants.
Find inspiration in the All-American vegetable seedlings sprouting in raised beds and containers.
Look at the different ways you can create a tidy compost pile in your own backyard. Be sure to ask about worm composting for small spaces too.
See well pruned blueberries, cane berries, and grape vines ready for the new year’s blossoms and fruit. Notice how many varieties are grown in containers.
