Tour of Central Park Gardens of Davis

Please join Paula Haley, UC Master Gardener of Yolo County on a tour of Central Park Gardens of Davis.  The tour begins at the east entrance of the Rose and Flower Garden and proceeds northward through seven distinct garden areas.  We will explore the themes, plants and artwork in each garden section, blending horticultural information with descriptions of public artworks installed throughout.  We'll stop for some teachable moments about pollinators, beneficial insects, California native plants, and water wise plantings.  Be on the lookout for bees, butterflies and birds.  The walking distance one way is a little over 500 feet.

The gardens are located in Davis Central Park, on B Street between Third and Fourth Streets in Downtown Davis. Meet at the Rose and Flower garden near the south east corner of the garden.  Garden map Scroll down for map meet near South Kiosk.
