About the Event
Join us on April 7, 2026 for a Citrus Thrips Field Day. This event aims to teach PCAs/field scouts how to recognize the various life stages of citrus thrips and western flower thrips and the predatory mites that attack them. We will also cover how to monitor citrus thrips. Results from pesticide trials on citrus thrips and best thrips management strategies will be discussed. Register here for the event.

B. 9:30 AM - 09:50 AM: Sanjeev Dhungana: Ongoing research activities and trial results from 2025 season.
C. 09:50 AM - 10:10 AM. Microscope identification of citrus thrips life stages compared to western flower thrips
D. 10:10 AM - 10:40 AM Past experiences and 2025 outlook on managing citrus thrips: Open discussions and sharing experiences
E. 10:40 AM -11:00 AM. Field demonstration of citrus thrips, predatory mite monitoring methods, and sampling for citrus thrips damage.
