Hopland Hikes - Lambing Time
About the Event
A family friendly short hike to visit the lambs and learn about the many jobs that our flock take care of at Hopland REC.
We'll seek clues in the form of "lost sheep" along the walk to the lamb barn. Each clue gives us information on why we farm sheep at HREC.
We will be meeting the sheep in the pasture, and will not be able to touch or bottle feed a lamb on this hike. We will get to enjoy the site of lambs in the field!
Following the hike you will have the chance to felt your own woolen ball to take home!
This short walk is stroller friendly.
