Just in time for Mother’s Day gift giving - or bring mom along for even more fun! Join the UC Master Food Preservers of Sonoma County for a hands-on class on making delicious homemade jams and jellies. Learn how different pectin types and sweeteners affect flavor, texture, and preservation while practicing safe canning methods using both water bath and steam canners.


Enjoy a scone and jam tasting during class, and go home with 1 jars of jam, 1 jar of jelly, a recipe and instruction booklet, and a scone-making kit—perfect for creating a thoughtful Mother’s Day gift (or keeping for yourself!).
