Helpful resources to support your role as a 4-H volunteer!

  • Volunteer Cafe
    • The Volunteer Café is a webinar series held every two months for 4-H volunteers. It is designed to highlight and share creative and useful ideas from the 4-H community. This series aims to inspire, educate, and unite 4-H volunteers by sharing knowledge between volunteers and staff. These webinars are a free resource for 4-H volunteers. Join the live webinars to connect with other volunteers, share your experiences, and learn from each other. This is a space for new and long-time volunteers to share ideas, questions, and suggestions with each other.

  • Volunteer Roles
    • The University of California 4-H Youth Development Program is led locally in each county. Both adult and youth volunteers play important roles in delivering 4-H experiences to all youth. Below are some of the key roles that volunteers fill. Under each role, you can find the role description and key resources to support you when you are taking on that role.
