Join Napa County 4-H

2026-2027 Eligibility

New and returning youth members must have an Active status in ZSuite before participating in any 4-H activities.

Youth are eligible to participate in 4-H if they meet the following criteria:

  • Primary Member: Must be 5 years old on or before December 31, 2026. Youth who turn 9 on or after January 1, 2027 must participate as a primary member until the end of the program year.
  • Junior, Intermediate, and Senior Members: Must be 9 years old on or before December 31, 2026. Youth may join if they are not 19 years old on or before December 31, 2026. Youth who turn 19 and who are already a 4-H member may continue capstone activities through December 31, 2027.

Youth, previously enrolled in 2025-2026, may participate in culminating events that are a continuation of their participation (e.g., fairs and competitions) during the period when the enrollment system is unavailable, but should re-enroll as soon as the system opens for self-enrollment so they can continue to participate in 4-H activities. Youth participants that were not enrolled in 2025-2026 will need to complete enrollment requirements prior to participating. Enrollment must have an Active status before youth can participate.

How to Enroll New 4-H Youth Members

The recommended time to inquire about 4-H and enroll in a 4-H Community Club is August-September, as clubs typically begin their meetings for the new program year in September or October.

Families can login and self-enroll youth participants in ZSuite at noon on August 3, 2026.
