It is now the first week of September so it’s time to start looking forward to fall. This week on In the Garden with UC Master Gardeners, join Teena and Katrina around the kitchen table to discuss just what to do out there this month.
Now is not a really busy time as it is still hot but know that October will be the time to get a lot of things IN the ground and other things OUT! Think about bulbs, native plants, spruce up your roses, and plan your flower garden. Sweet peas! Seeds. Six-packs. What have you!
NOTE: At the mid-show break approximately 9am, the in-studio host will mention timely information about the new Master Gardener training starting later this year running until May 2026. Mandatory Information Day meetings are starting TODAY. Pick one. The first opportunity to start the path to be in the class is TODAY September 4th at 10am at the UC South Coast Research & Extension Center 7601 Irvine Blvd, Irvine. Zoom that evening at 6pm. Last one is a Zoom meeting on Sept. 9th 6pm. Zoom meetings registration links are available on our Master Gardeners of Orange County website.
