The University of California Office of the President invites comments on a proposed Presidential Policy on Anatomical Donation Programs and Anatomical Materials. The policy is proposed to be revised and includes the following key issues:
- Specifying California State Universities and Community Colleges in the allocation hierarchy
- Clarifying existing practice whereby UC does not accept unclaimed human remains or unrepresented donors for use in education and research
- Replacing an approval process with an informational training
- Updating definitions, links and personnel designations
