Dear UC ANR Colleagues,
I have important news to share regarding a change to our executive leadership team. Associate Vice President Brent Hales will be stepping away from his role at UC ANR, effective today, to pursue other professional opportunities. We are grateful for the contributions he has made during his time with us.
Regarding next steps, the leadership team is actively evaluating a plan for interim coverage to prioritize continuity and smooth workflows in support of our research and Cooperative Extension mission. We want to be thoughtful with a focus on ensuring our programs, partnerships and people are well supported as we move forward, and we do not want to lose momentum on projects or initiatives currently underway. We expect to have a confirmed plan to share with you by Friday, January 16.
