GIVING OPTIONS The California 4-H Foundation can assist you with a giving option that will work best for you and your family while meeting your philanthropic goals. There are many ways to give to the California 4-H Youth Development Program.

Outdoor activities in 4-H range from science projects such as rocketry and astronomy, to shooting sports, sports and gardening. Many counties offer outdoor exploration projects to take advantage of learning in the diverse outdoor landscape in California.

The University of California 4-H Youth Development Program engages youth in reaching their fullest potential while advancing the field of youth development. UC Cooperative Extension is responsible for administering the Del Norte County 4-H program.

4-H On The Wild Side (OTWS) is part of the Cooperative Extension 4-H Youth Development Program whose purpose is to bring environmental education and an outdoor living experience to 4th-6th grade children who have a limited opportunity to explore wild places or sleep under the stars.

Interested adults must attend one of our Volunteer Orientations.
