Join the Quercus* Collaborative A group of Mendocino residents noticed among the magnificent mature oaks they could find very few baby oaks and saplings.

Would you like to train your dog in obedience and learn dog handling? If you answered yes, consider joining the 4-H County Wide Dog Project. Leaders of the project are Anne Cehrs and Richard Benefiel, a former dog resource leader for Fresno County 4-H.

Stroll the 16 themed gardens and talk to volunteers in each garden. Participate in one of our many 30-minute classes, which will take place in the various gardens between 9:00 am and noon.

Lose the Lawn- Go Native! Jim Brugger is back by popular demand to present on the benefits of losing the lawn and going with CA native plants! How can we use our home landscape to restore piece of lost habitat? Why are Native plants important? Where do I start? The lawn is gone...

Entries due (on-line) for the Big Fresno Fair for market sheep, goats and swine and showmanship.

Come along to our weekly Workday & Open Garden Gate - we are now operating SPRING/SUMMER HOURS - 9am to 1pm. Open year-round on Thursdays - the public is welcome to explore the garden, ask for advice, take free seeds home to plant, buy plants, share in the harvest and more.

Treasurer books, record books, historian books, etc. all due this day.
