It just wouldn't be a picnic without bugs. Briggs Hall, home of the UC Davis Department of Entomology and Nematology, will turn into a bugfest during the 105th annual UC Davis Picnic Day on Saturday, April 13. Think cockroach races, maggot art, and bee and ant displays, to name a few.
The UC 4-H Youth Development Program, UC Master Gardeners, UC Master Food Preservers and the California Naturalists are parts of UC Agriculture and Natural Resources (UC ANR) that rely on the generous contributions of time and talent by thousands of volunteers.

Ventura County 4-H Presentation Day took place on Saturday, March 23 at UC Hansen Agricultural Research and Extension Center. Presentations took place in the small and large barns as well as our new conference room, and the interviews took place in our 4-H offices.

4-H Student Farm is an after-school program that has inspired students to engage in healthier eating habits and learn where their food comes from. The six week program also provides an opportunity for middle schoolers to acquaint themselves with agriculture.
