Richmond Low Water Demo Garden Courtesy Annies Annuals
is a beautiful garden that demonstrates low-water-use plants for using less water.
This garden is located in the Richmond Civic Center. 
Volunteers work in the garden and can meet with visitors on Friday mornings.

on the second Saturday of every month at 7250 Portola Drive, El Cerrito (former Portola Middle School site).UC Master Gardeners and Pacific Oaks Community Garden are creating a Water Conservation Garden and Educational Center for the home gardener.

Discover a rich and ever-evolving series of engaging talks on sustainable gardening and a wide range of seasonal topics—hosted on Zoom or at libraries across the county, as well as in our demonstration gardens. Whether you're looking to grow smarter, conserve resources, or simply be inspired, there’s always something new to learn.

Our UC Master Gardeners are also proud to support local school and community gardens, partnering on everything from ongoing programs to special one-time projects that bring people together through the joy of gardening.
