2026 UC Master Gardener Plant Sales in Alameda County

 

Exciting news—two plant sales this year!

For the first time, the UC Master Gardeners of Alameda County will host two in-person plant sales in 2026—one in Oakland and one in Pleasanton. Our annual plant sale is a favorite spring event for home gardeners, and we can’t wait to welcome you.

You’ll find vegetable starts for spring planting, including vibrant tomatoes and piquant peppers—with dozens of veggie varieties.

Pleasanton Plant Sale

Dates: Saturday & Sunday, April 11–12, 2026
Location: Pleasanton Senior Center
Address: 5353 Sunol Blvd, Pleasanton, CA


Oakland Plant Sale

Date: Saturday, April 25, 2026
Location: The Center (Oakland Unified School District)
Address: 2850 West St, Oakland, CA

In partnership with OUSD’s Earth Day Celebration, the Oakland plant sale will be hosted at The Center—come celebrate Earth Day and stock up on spring garden favorites.


What to expect

  • In-person shopping only (no pre-ordering)

  • A cornucopia of veggie starts to elevate your garden

  • Friendly UC Master Gardener volunteers available to help you choose plants and answer questions

All proceeds support the public education programs of the UC Master Gardeners of Alameda County, promoting:
