This months topic is “Rocks and Soils - Mystery Under Our Feet”. Join us as we explore the important role rocks and soil play in our gardens. Through a fun lesson and hands-on demonstration we’ll discover the different characteristics of soil and observe a wide variety of rocks up close. This months topic is “Plant and Animal Skeletons”. Join us to explore the hidden skeletons in your garden! Did you know plants have a kind of “skeleton” too—stems and roots that support their structure just like bones do for animals? Through a fun lesson and hands-on demonstration, we’ll discover both plant and animal skeletons and learn what makes each one special. Then we’ll get creative with a fun skeleton-inspired craft!
