Presentation Day General Information

4-H Presentation Board

Presentation Day(s) give members the chance to communicate an idea or concept to an audience. By going through the process of giving a presentation, members learn how to research a subject, organize ideas in a logical order, and practice public speaking skills which are valuable later in life.   Every 4-H member is encouraged to give a presentation each year.   

County Presentation Day - Saturday, March 7, 2026

9:00 AM: Check-in
9:15 AM: General Assembly
9:30 AM: Presentations Begin

Evaluators/Judges (adults) needed.

2026 Regional 4-H Presentation Day

 
Those 4-H members receiving a blue or gold award at County Presentation Day are eligible to participate in Regionals. 
More details found on CA 4-H State Site or the 4-H Presentation Days Site
Fresno County 4-H members receiving a Blue or Gold award for their Presentation at County Presentation Day have the opportunity to progress to the next level of competition– Regional Presentation Day. This event provides the opportunity for participants to qualify for the State Presentation Day Competition held on May 23, 2026 at the 4-H State Field Day at UC Davis. Evaluators' critiques and suggestions help the presenter improve for the next level of competition.

Central Valley Regional In-Person Presentation Days - Fresno 4-H Office Wednesday, April 1st and Thursday, April 2nd, 2026. Arrival times of 4:00 pm, 5:00 pm, and 6:00 pm. Select your time when registering. Regional Registration link. Registration/Entry deadline is March 23rd.   

No Virtual Regionals are offered by state or Fresno County in 2026. 

State 4-H Presentation Day

Those 4-H members receiving a blue or gold award at Regional 4-H Presentation Day are eligible to participate in State 4-H Presentation Day.
