Training for Better Nitrogen Management


More than a decade of science-based training for California agriculture.

Since 2014, CIWR and UC Cooperative Extension have developed trainings, short courses, publications, and videos to improve nitrogen management practices in California with support from the California Department of Food and Agriculture.

UC Online Nitrogen Management Course

Flexible, research-based professional education delivered online.

CIWR and UC partners developed an online curriculum and video series to strengthen knowledge of nitrogen management, reporting, and best management practices in California agriculture.

The course is open to anyone interested in nitrogen management and is particularly useful for Certified Crop Advisers seeking continuing education or preparing for California nitrogen specialty certification.
