Webinar: Thursday December 11, 2025. 2:00 - 3:00 pm
Quarto is an open-source publishing tool developed by researchers for creating data analysis notebooks, articles, reports, presentations, websites, blogs, books, and more. Quarto documents are written in a simple markdown language, and can be saved as HTML, PDF, MS Word, ePub, and other formats.
Quarto can also render dynamic content written in R, Python, and Julia. It bridges the gap between data science, coding, and markdown engines such as Jupyter notebooks. By leveraging a vast ecosystem of extensions for R and Python and the power of HTML, it supports the creation of interactive elements and fun tools like quizzes, maps, and even scrollytelling!
This webinar will introduce you to Quarto and showcase several use cases of using Quarto for research and extension. The webinar will conclude with an overview of sharing your Quarto creations with colleagues and the general public.
