Featured Project: Growing Healthy Futures for Sutter County Youth

UC Cooperative Extension Sutter–Yuba is expanding hands-on learning opportunities for local youth through school gardens, STEM programs, nutrition education, and agriculture-focused activities. By partnering across CalFresh Healthy Living, 4-H Youth Development, and Master Gardeners, this project brings research-supported experiences directly to students, helping them build confidence, connect with nature, and discover healthy habits that last a lifetime.

Our Cooperative Partnership

UCCE Sutter–Yuba works in close collaboration with Sutter County and Yuba County to bring UC research, education, and community programs directly to local residents. Our county partners play a vital role in supporting services that strengthen agriculture, youth development, healthy living, and natural resource stewardship across the region.
