The UCCE Sutter–Yuba Counties team connects our community with practical, research-based support from the University of California. We work with local farmers, families, youth, and residents to provide trusted information in agriculture, natural resources, home gardening, nutrition, and 4-H youth development. Our Impact 

Our advisors, specialists, and volunteers work together to support agriculture, natural resources, healthy living, and youth development across Sutter and Yuba Counties.

Spanish-language training for field workers on soil, water, and pest management led by UCCE Water Resources Specialist Sam Sandoval.

Featured Project: Growing Healthy Futures for Sutter County Youth

UC Cooperative Extension Sutter–Yuba is expanding hands-on learning opportunities for local youth through school gardens, STEM programs, nutrition education, and agriculture-focused activities. By partnering across CalFresh Healthy Living, 4-H Youth Development, and Master Gardeners, this project brings research-supported experiences directly to students, helping them build confidence, connect with nature, and discover healthy habits that last a lifetime.
