Climate Connections Academy for middle school youth (ages 12 to 15 years old) coordinated by the University of California Cooperative Extension, Marin County 4-H during July 13 to 17, 2026, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. dail

Goal: Help youth begin to see themselves as people who belong on a college campus, in nature, and in climate solutions, through a 5-day program that engages them in experiential activities, outdoor labs, guest speakers, and a capstone project. While content is environmental science and climate, the emphasis is on identity (“I am someone who can help”), attitudes (hopeful, efficacy), and life skills (teamwork, observation, communication, problem solving).
