Household water-saving tips! Recently Governor Gavin Newsom declared: I have no patience for climate-change deniers. It's inconsistent with the reality on the ground, the facts. The evidence is in, there is too much Carbon Dioxide in the atmosphere.

Fire-Resistant, Not Fire-Proof

This time reminds me of when we lived at South Lake Tahoe several years ago. We had a house that had approximately 40 pine trees in the back part of the lot. We were told that we had to religiously rake up the fallen needles and remove the dead limbs from the trees.

Let Go and Let Garden

It seems safe to say that 2020 did not turn out to be the year of perfect vision that I had joyfully anticipated. I started my garden in early spring with all the hope of this being my most productive year and it seemed like everything I had put the most energy into did the worst.
