Fall Garden Fair ornamentals descriptions. Some cool season ornamentals bloom in the winter while others grow slowly then explode into flower for fabulous spring blooms. Plant in September through October for beautiful bouquets in a few months.
Our demonstration gardens showcase best practices for home gardeners and provide hands-on gardening experiences. Gardens are open to the public (days and hours vary by location).

Our focus is demonstrating and teaching best gardening practices for growing edible vegetables, greens, and herbs enjoyed in the food of the many Asian cultures represented in Santa Clara County and Cupertino.
We have two demonstration gardens outside the Santa Clara County building where the UC Master Gardener offices are located, the Berger Edibles Demo & Teaching Garden and the Berger Native Demonstration Garden.
