About the Event
We are excited to announce a series of one day workshops focusing on virtual fencing. Workshops will cover different topics related to virtual fencing, including livestock management, funding opportunities, targeted grazing applications, and more. Each workshop will be different so we hope you will want to attend all of them!
Please check back here about a month before the event for details of the topic. The workshop dates are:
Monday, March 2
Friday, May 8: Virtual fencing for sheep, including for targeted grazing, fuels reduction and weed control. The workshop will also cover technical/financial assistance available from NRCS.
Friday, August 14: Learn about the development of Hopland REC’s grazing plan for virtual fencing, grazing planning for wildfire preparedness, and using virtual fencing for grazing on public lands. You will also hear from producers at Hopland REC about their experiences with virtual fence:
