Brand Ambassador Program
The Brand Ambassador Certification Program encourages UC ANR employees to actively steward effective branding across the organization. We welcome participation from people in any role. Join us to help make the UC ANR brand as strong and memorable as possible.
Certification Requirements
- Watch the brand training videos above or attend an in-person brand training workshop.
- Email Linda Forbes to communicate your interest in becoming a brand ambassador.
- Take the Brand Ambassador Certification Test and receive a score of 80% or higher.
- Once certified, spend at least one hour each month on branding activities, such as:
- Auditing your branding and your unit's branding and fixing any compliance issues
- Ensuring your unit knows where to find branding information and templates
- Encouraging colleagues to use properly branded email signatures, letterhead, and other materials
- Sharing branding information and resources at meetings
- Asking people who are using outdated logos to work with Strategic Communications to update their items
- Recognizing people who do a good job with brand compliance
- Keeping track of non-compliant branding examples and sharing them with Strategic Communications if they cannot be addressed with your guidance
- Viewing and recommending brand training resources on LinkedIn Learning or elsewhere for inclusion in the Communications Toolkit
- Attend two 45-minute brand ambassador meetings each year.
- For certification renewal, submit a summary of branding improvements you made or supported to Linda Forbes by June 30 each year.
Recognition
Brand ambassadors receive branded promotional items, eligibility for prize drawings, and public recognition. Let Linda Forbes know if you prefer to opt out of any of these forms of recognition.
