Returning Youth Members

Welcome back to 4-H! We’re excited to have you continue your 4-H journey this year.

This page explains how returning members renew their enrollment, update information, and select projects.

Enrollment for the New 4-H Year

The 4-H program year runs from July 1 through June 30.

Returning members must complete enrollment each year to remain active and participate in meetings, projects, and county events.

STEP 1: Submit 2026-2027 Enrollment via ZSuite

Update enrollment in ZSuite. Select the "Enroll for (current program year)" for the renewing member.

Update personal information. Make sure all of your personal information is up to date, including email address. Email is the primary way you will receive communication.

Update your 4-H participation. Only select the club, projects and groups that you will be participating in for the new year. Remove any clubs or projects that you will not be actively participating in.

  • Project Selection
    • Continue projects from last year

    • Try new projects

    • Add leadership or advanced opportunities

    • Be realistic about your time. Choosing too many projects can make it hard to attend meetings regularly.

    • If a project is full, speak with your club leader about alternatives.

Complete the waivers. Read through the waivers by clicking each drop down arrow. Sign the waivers that require a signature.

Note: The Health History and Treatment Authorization form cannot be completed with the Safari browser, commonly used on mobile devices. Please complete enrollment on a computer. After saving this form, be sure to go back into ZSuite and submit the enrollment.

STEP 2: Enrollment Fees

The 2026–2027 youth enrollment fee is $150 per youth, paid online with a credit card.

Fee Waivers/Reductions are available.  Complete the Enrollment Fee Payment Survey.

STEP 3: Required Reading

Read the required reading, which by enrolling in the 4-H Youth Development Program you are agreeing to the following:

Member Code of Conduct

Step 4: Enrollment Completion

When Your Enrollment Is Approved

Participate! Once the county 4-H office reviews and approves the enrollment, you will receive an email sent to your Family Household email account to confirm your enrollment status as Active. Once your membership is active, you may participate in 4-H events and activities!

You may access your 4-H enrollment profile at any time of the year to update your health information, etc.

Until your enrollment is approved, participation in official activities may be limited.

Note: Youth must be enrolled in projects with the ultimate goal of participating/competing before the first project meeting.

Leadership Opportunities for Returning Members

As you grow in 4-H, consider taking on more responsibility:

  • Serve as a club officer

  • Lead a presentation or workshop

  • Mentor younger members

  • Join county leadership programs

4-H is designed to grow with you.
