County Fashion Revue

Los Angeles County 4H Fashion Revue will take place on March 29, 2026. Fashion Revue is an event for those enrolled in clothing & textiles and/or fashion revue 4-H projects to highlight their efforts and to develop self-confidence and poise.  Members have the opportunity to model the garments they made or purchased and to present themselves at their best in personal grooming, posture, modeling and accessorizing their garment. The day is one of learning as well as competing. Instruction will be given, especially to the BEGINNERS, on how to model.  All entrants will receive written, constructive comments on their outfits. 

Members must be enrolled in the clothing or fashion revue projects.  Garments must not have been shown in a previous Fashion Revue and must have been completed in this 4-H project year.  All garments must meet the 4H Dress Code.

• Traditional (Make It With Wool is included in this category.)
• Consumer Science Purchased, $50.00 Limit
• Uniquely Upcycled
• Pantone Color of the Year 2025 Challenge
• Costume Challenge
• Softie Challenge
• Needlework

Levels of Competition
There are three levels of competition (Jr./ Int./Sr.) and primaries that are coached (and not judged).

Commentary: 
To encourage self-confidence and poise, contestants should be prepared with a written commentary for the judges about their outfits in a short 30-second to one-minute explanation. (Length of explanation should be age appropriate, and no more than 60 words). This is required at Sectional Fashion Revue.  The commentary will be read by the master of ceremonies while the member models.  A copy will also be provided to the judges with your entry form.
