UC Master Gardeners will discuss the details of soil testing, including when and how to test, as well as the roles of fertilizers, amendments, and mulch in soil improvement.

The UC Master Gardener Program of San Luis Obispo County is part of University of California Agriculture and Natural Resources. We share research-based gardening and pest management information with the public.
Our trained UC Master Gardener volunteers help home gardeners make practical, informed decisions about plant care, pest problems, soil, irrigation, and sustainable gardening practices.
