UC IPM Web Content Changes

We reported on our blog in November 2024 that UC IPM’s website is undergoing design changes and our readers will notice the pages look a bit different. UC IPM staff have been working for years to redesign and update the content of our website to improve not only the overall look, but accessibility for those with disabilities.

UC IPM, as well as everyone within UC Agriculture and Natural Resources, have been converting online content to be in compliance with title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). While these important changes are still in progress, we wanted to let our readers know that some of UC IPM’s web content will soon be temporarily unavailable. Some older, outdated resources will be taken down permanently.

What will be available?

Don’t panic—most of UC IPM’s web content will still be available during this reconstruction phase! You will still be able to find solutions to pest problems, help with identification, pesticide safety information, beneficial insects, and much more. The content below might look different and where to find it may have moved, but it’s all still there:

What will be temporarily unavailable?

Starting around May 12, 2026, the following online content will be unavailable until we can convert them to comply with ADA standards. Several of these resources could be down for months or even years since they are not a “quick fix”.

  • New webinars will no longer be recorded and posted to YouTube (but we will still be hosting them live!)

What are some permanent changes?

The Urban IPM team is committed to providing high-quality, accessible pest management information and resources for all Californians. We appreciate your patience while we implement these changes and make improvements!
