Grow Your Garden Workshop: Waterwise Plants

UC Master Gardeners of San Diego County will introduce home gardeners to waterwise plants that thrive in our Mediterranean climate, while reducing water use, maintenance and costs. Participants learn what “waterwise” really means – selecting the right plants for the right place.

Kathy Pyle and Donn Reese are UC Master Gardeners of San Diego County from the Class of 2023. Patricia McGregor became a certified Master Gardener in Albuquerque, New Mexico and transferred to the San Diego program in 2024.

10 a.m. to noon - Grow Your Garden, where you can swap succulents, seeds, fruit, vegetables and herbs from your garden with your neighbors.

10:30 to 11:30 a.m. - Workshop, where you can learn new gardening techniques.
