Spring is a great time to plant vegetables, flowers, strawberries, and so many other plants. This class will provide advice you can apply to your garden, based on UC research and Master Gardener local experience.

Topics will include:

• Planning for your 2026 garden

• Local gardening considerations

• Tips for success (healthy soil, plant protection: critters, weather, and more!)

• Seasonal planting guides, and specific guidance for growing:

  -Summer Squash (easy!)

  -Tomatoes and Peppers (so many to choose from!)

  -Cucumbers, Melons, Winter Squash, Green Beans (many ideal for trellis)

  -Annual flowers -- pollinators integrated within your vegetables

  -Strawberries
