Raster vs. Vector Graphics

The difference between raster and vector graphics is not always visible at small sizes, but becomes apparent when graphics are enlarged.

Raster file types become pixelated (fuzzy) when enlarged too much.
Vector file types maintain smooth, sharp edges at any size.
