UC SAREP is partnering with F3 Local to provide the Central Valley Agritourism Intensive training.  The UC SAREP's Agritourism Intensive training provides participants with a comprehensive introduction to agritourism and a supportive network to explore diversification through the development or expansion of an agritourism enterprise.

Webinar: Navigating ADA Compliance for Agritourism Guests

This webinar explored how the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) applies to agritourism guests, including general business requirements and various strategies for making your operation more inclusive and accessible.  The webinar discussed service and emotional support animals, requirements for removing physical barriers, digital accessibility for websites and social media, and options for resolving disputes.

Webinar: Understanding California's New Legislation on Low-Impact Camping on Agricultural Land

California recently passed Assembly Bill 518, legislation that provides a framework for permitting low-impact camping on private property, creating new opportunities for farmers and ranchers to diversify revenue.  During this educational webinar, guest speakers introduced the new legislation, how it works, and what it means for agritourism operators and counties looking to support on-farm camping. Guest speakers: Cassandra Prenn-Vasilakis, Senior Manager for Government and Community Relations, Hipcamp and Laetitia Benador, Policy Manager, California Certified Organic Farmers.
