Hansen REC offers organic and conventional fields, greenhouse space and skilled labor. Rates are reviewed and approved annually. 

Approved cost rates for research conducted at Hansen REC for the period July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2026: 

Per Acre Rate:

• Full Cost: $7,215.23
• UC-Led Research Cost: $3,680.00

Hourly Labor Rate:

• Full Cost: $63.09 per hour
• UC-Led Research Cost: $57.64 per hour

Greenhouse Rate:

• Full Cost: $3.35 per square foot
• UC-Led Research Cost: $3.35 per square foot

A Non-University fee of 36% is added to the Full Cost Rate for Non-UC led research.
