Welcome to the University of California Cooperative Extension in Los Angeles County!  We offer many wonderful programs for local communities.  There's something for everyone.

Kids can get involved in more than 80 projects, ranging from cooking to marine biology, through our 4-H Youth Development Program.  For adults, especially those concerned with their health as well as their children's health, we offer nutrition education workshops in many communities.

Interested in gardening?  Check out our gardening offerings in the UC Master Gardener Program, which provides workshops and training opportunities for both new and experienced gardeners.  Our staff maintain up-to-date, research-based knowledge in natural resources, environmental issues, agriculture, horticulture and much more.
