Composting Basics:
This workshop will focus on composting backyard trimmings and food scraps. Learn about compost application - your soil will thank you!
Vermicomposting (Composting for Small Spaces):
This workshop will focus on composting food scraps using worms and is best for those living in multifamily units or other homes without yard waste. Recycling your food waste reduces greenhouse gas emissions and is fantastic for your house plants.
Composting Systems
Through the County of Santa Clara, our program offers discounted composting systems to Santa Clara County residents who attend our workshops, one per household. We are currently distributing the FreeGarden EARTH composting system to all who qualify. Worm systems are available but not kept in stock. Check out our schedule below.
