Model Horse Show General Information
Model Horse Show is open to all 4-H members. Enrollment in the horse project is NOT a requirement to participate. This is a friendly competition where there are no horse hauling hassles. All models acceptable to enter, Breyers, Peter Stone, Schleich, Grand Champions, etc. A fun educational day as you will learn breed specific standards and traits as shared by our knowledgeable judges. This event includes a "Show What You Know" opportunity for members. Select your favorite model and complete a one on one interview to include age appropriate general horse knowledge questions as well as showmanship skills.
Event includes many great silent auction items and on site snack bar.

Out of county 4-H members are welcome!
Lots of great items in the silent auction. Lunch for purchase at on-site snack bar, warm up with yummy hot chocolate.
Optional opportunity for members to participate in interview / showmanship using their favorite model horse. Helpful hint- choose one you are knowledgeable of in terms of breeds, color, origin, common use, etc.
Show historically ends approximately 2:00 pm. May flex depending upon number of entries.
