Tired of barbecue sauces whose first ingredient is either high fructose corn syrup or water? 

Join the UC Master Food Preservers of Orange County on June 18th to explore how to make and preserve a zesty BBQ sauce, made with tomato puree and your own blend of spices. 

We will also make a Pineapple Papaya Chili Salsa that compliments both meat and fish fresh from the grill! 

Each participant will make and take two products:  Barbecue Sauce and Pineapple Papaya Chili Salsa.

There will be two identical workshops offered. 

  • Each class is limited to the first 24 registrants. 
  • Register and pay online by Sunday, June 16,2024, and bring a printed or digital copy of your confirmation proof of payment to class.

Closed-toe shoes are required. 

Please bring an apron from home.  If you cannot bring an apron, please select the $5 cleaning fee for a loaner apron. 

All ingredients and kitchen tools will be provided at the class.

Cancellation Policy: No refunds two weeks prior to workshop, as materials will have been purchased.
