Oak enthusiasts, landowners, natural resource managers, and foresters are invited to join us for a series of virtual talks and a live Q&A session discussing the challenges faced by California’s native oak trees and oak woodlands.
- Conservation of Oregon white oak and Ca black oak woodlands
- Sudden oak death and other Phytophthora problems in oaks and tanoak
- Wildfire in tanoak and Ca black oak, blue oak, and interior live oak woodlands
- A new, non-native beetle threat to valley oaks
Recorded presentations from several oak specialists will be made available online April 14th. On April 21st at 10:00 AM, we will host a live moderated Q&A session on Zoom.
