Contact: Ariel Clay,
Sponsor: California 4-H Youth Development Program

The State 4-H Field Day is California 4-H’s largest and most comprehensive educational event for 4-H youth members (ages 9-18) and 4-H volunteers, with more than 1,500 participants annually. This event is open to all who want to see the great work that 4-H youth do throughout the year.

The goal of the event is to provide a culminating experience for 4-H members in their year-long 4-H education in public speaking, textiles, plant sciences, photography, interview skills, and entomology. This event strengthens a number of important extended learning practices.

Please see the State Field Day event site for more detail on the schedule, contests, activities, and ways to volunteer.
