Vegetable Container Gardening

Join the Master Gardeners of Ventura County at the Matilija Poppy Festival, Conejo Valley Botanic Gardens, for a talk on growing vegetables in containers. It is an easy, fun way to get healthy veggies on the table when space is an issue. Learn which veggies grow best in containers as well as information on soil, watering, fertilizing, pests, and placement of containers.

Join the Master Gardeners of Ventura County at the Matilija Poppy Festival, Conejo Valley Botanic Gardens, to learn about beneficial insects and how to attract them to your garden. Did you know that California has 1,600 types of native bees?  Learn this and more. You will also learn the importance of beneficial insects and why you want them in your garden.
